Challenge Seiran (2008)

Price: $2,650.00

When Challenge started out in the late eighties, they only made Hi-Racers, only because at the time, there were no fast, small wheels available. In those days, recumbents were only used for racing. Over time customers discovered that these bikes were also perfect for extreme travelling. Their Hi-racers evolved in to heavy duty touring bikes.

Challenge has returned to the Hi-racer scene with the Seiran. The Seiran combines the best of both worlds, but without compromise. They have raised the standard for frame design and geometry to a new level. The frame is light and fast, yet strong enough to carry all of your luggage over vast distances.

If you want to go off-road, the rear dropouts can be changed to provide loads of clearance.
