At the pre-rally mixer, Rob talked Bryan J. Ball (of ‘BentRider Online) into doing a bit of his stand-up act to fill the time that was slotted for Ian Sims’ presentation. Here it is:

Introducing the Gekko fx super-fast folding trike
HP Velotechnik has posted a video full of intrigue and theft. During a normal day of photo shoots, an unidentified visitor reveals a new trike, folds it, unfolds it, folds it again, unfolds it again (presumably) and then rides off on it. The video is really much better than my description of it.

Okay, we’re back. We’ve been pretty quiet on the blog here recently while we’ve been Facebooking like fiends. But I promise you we will update this bugger at least once a week now. If I fail in my quest, you have my permission to e-mail me at travis@rbr.info and tell me to get off my

Alan Barnard, formerly of The Recumbent Blog and currently of EcoVelo, recently posted how it is that he manages to get his bikes sparkly clean for his photo shoots. It’s a lot easier than you might think. Oh, and if you’re looking to put a shopping bag around your recumbent seat, you might have to

One of our guests at the rally was Tom Flohr, owner of Trident Trikes. He took the floor (ha ha) at our Friday night kick-off to talk about the Trident Trikes philosophy and the products that were on the way. And now, through the magic of the internet, you can feel as though you were

There’s a good chance that, if you’re reading this, you don’t live in Germany and didn’t attend the Spezialradmesse festival (I know adding “festival” is redundant). That’s why you’ll probably be interested in checking out the article over at Recumbent Journal where they’re tracking SPEZI news. I didn’t just post this to do cross-promotion (I’m
Continue reading »Catbike Blusashi
We might have talked about the Musashi before, done a bunch of photos, et cetera. And you’ve probably seen that stark white Musashi on every recumbent site you’ve visited. But have you seen it… in blue? It’s practically a different bike. So much so that I hereby dub this the Catbike Blusashi! Dear Big Cat

Could we interest you in a trike that will fit just about everyone in your family (without adjusting the chain), can break down into smaller chunks for transport, has a 5′ turning radius, an easy-to-sit-in seat (18 inches high!) and sells for as little as $799? Oh, sorry, we thought that might be appealing. That’s
