Centre Region Bicycle Coalition meeting - 10/14 Posted at 2008/10/03 11:13 Karma: 0
Those who live local to RBR are likely familiar with the CRBC. Their next meeting is 10/14 at 7pm and will be focused on pedestrian and cyclist safety. Here are the details:

QUOTE:
The first CRBC meeting of fall will be Tuesday Oct. 14th at 7pm in room 117
of the Earth and Engineering Sciences Building (EES Bldg). Given the recent
discussions on crosswalk safety, we have switched the focus of this meeting
to cyclists and pedestrian safety and the work of CRBC's Cyclist and
Pedestrian Safety Task Force. We'll give an overview of the Task Force's
history, discuss current projects related to pedestrian and cyclist safety,
and talk about how to move ahead in the future. I hope everyone can make the
meeting, and please pass this along to others you know who have an interest
in this issue. It would be great to get some non-cyclists also involved!

Directions:
The EES Bldg is located on west campus, just west of the IST building over
Atherton. Bike parking is available in racks on both the north and south
sides of the building, and free car parking is available in Red lot A just
north of the building. Turn off Atherton at White Course to access the
parking lot.
