Very young… very fast… very natural…

Fastest man on earth… and such a natural manner… Barbara Buatois is now the fastest HUMAN in Europe, female or male; the fastest woman in the world, and though I’m not sure what world champions are supposed to look like, looks a lot like the “girl next door”!

Arizona Whips – Redux

The Bicycle Technology and Patents site (or Bicycle Patent blog for short) is created and updated by Bob Shaver and Steve Nipper. Fabulous site full of findings only patent attorneys could uncover. It was there that I first saw the Arizonawhips.com/ whips and Bob has updated us on them. We first ran a post about the [...]

BERN Helmets…

Still poking around, looking at helmets that might work best on a recumbent. A thread started by “AbrasiveScotsman” over at BROL got me looking at the BERN helmets. I’m also very aware of helmet linings (got to have some protection up here in Canada’s winters) and sunvisors… Like the increased rear and side protection, color choices, [...]

The paramedic cyclist …

This crew (I’d say these blokes, but I’m reading this photo as he/she/he) are loaded! I’d love to hear what those bikes and riders weigh fully loaded. But if they were rushing to my aid I’d be glad. This idea makes a lot of sense of any kind of bikes! Read all the details at about [...]
