Fibre Flare™

Fibre Flare™ has recently been awarded the 2009 Eurobike IF award in the electronics division. I think even a light-mad Canadian (hey, it gets blacker than the ace of spades up here in the winter time) has exhausted the Eurobike awards… now we’re on to Interbike! Copyright © 2009 Fibre Flare™ “Technical stuff Fibre Flare™ is a portable [...]

Animas Quadracycle: Chapter 2

Back on July 11th of this year, Rick Steele of Gold Country Cyclery (Shingle Springs, CA) was kind enough to email us an introductory video on the Animas Quadracycle and its inventor Greg Fisher of Tuscon, Arizona. In that video we learned that when Greg says you can go off-road, he means OFF-ROAD! That (amazing) video [...]

Reelight…

Ok… by now you’re convinced that I have a “light fetish” or something (which may be true) but this Danish light DID win a GOLD at the recent Eurobike 2009 and was the only bike light to do so. It generates its own power, eliminating the need to buy and/or replace batteries all the time, and [...]

Video: Blue Sky Days…

Autumn Leaves featuring Faraò, Durham & Zunino Penny Jean has a brand spanking new battery, one of those LiFePO4 ones that is small but powerful. So much for me turning around to see if she’s coming… it’s more likely her stopping occasionally to let the “old boy” catch up. I’ve had almost as good a morning [...]
